Model Overview & Specs

Overview

The Radyne® Multi Wire Line Induction Heater uses induction heating to provide a clean, fast, and efficient way of heating multiple wires for multi-wire or strand annealing heating processes. The system uses a single coil around all the wires while maintaining the required wire pitches used in conventional multi-wire applications. Its footprint is small enough that retro-fitting to existing wire lines is possible. A Radyne® Multi-Wire Induction Heating System can heat from 2 – 40 wires, delivering a throughput of 4400 lb./hour [2,000 kg/hour], heated to 1292°F [700°C]. - Copper cladding wire at high speed and efficiency - Fine strip – Ribbon, Films - Silicon steel lamination - Low or high carbon steel - Stamping stock - Braze material laminates - Aluminium/Steel Can Strip Intended for multi-wire heating applications and modern multi-wire or strand annealing heating processes. It is applicable to processing 2 – 40 wires and to heating materials listed in the product details, including copper cladding wire, fine strip (ribbon, films), silicon steel lamination, low or high carbon steel, stamping stock, braze material laminates, and aluminium/steel can strip. The system can deliver a throughput of 4400 lb./hour [2,000 kg/hour] and heat to 1292°F [700°C], and its small footprint supports retro-fitting to existing wire lines while using a single coil that maintains conventional wire pitches.
