Overview

BREMBANA E-PUMP is a hybrid intensifier from CMS that combines the power density of a hydraulic pump with a direct-drive mechanical architecture and an electrohydrostatic unit connected directly to long-stroke pressure multiplier cylinders. The design reduces components by up to 95% compared to a conventional hydraulic intensifier and achieves an operating efficiency of more than 31% compared to hydraulic intensifiers. The system includes on-board intelligence with a portable Wi‑Fi tablet and touch display and is controlled by an industrial PLC located in the electrical cabinet. The HMI is accessible from a 10.4" Wi‑Fi tablet and the web interface is remotely accessible via computer or smartphone to view operation, alarms and activate the emergency STOP command. The intensifier delivers energy savings through a hybrid double-acting pressure pump with direct connection, a brushless servomotor controlled by an inverter and primary and auxiliary motors controlled by inverters; the product claims -37% electricity consumption and elimination of starting current peaks. It is specified for waterjet cutting applications and can be installed on any cutting table, including third-party tables.
