HCMC-1370 is a Vertical Machining Center (Box guideway) marketed as "Super Tornado" with a 3-axes box guideway design delivering optimum stability and high rigidity. The machine uses a one-piece column extended span that is 25% wider in width and provides 15% increased rigidity. Full support throughout the X axis travel is provided by a brand new structure that increases guideway spacing on the X axis by 35% and widens support points on the base. Z-axis counterweight and one-piece spindle housing/casting iron design are part of the structural design. Demonstration images and videos for the HCMC-1370 show face milling, side milling, tapping, drilling and mold finishing. The machine is presented for heavy duty cutting and heavy machining, with AI automatic tuning and environment thermal displacement compensation intended to enable high-precision machining under room temperature. AFC (Automatic Feed Control, without hardware) is stated to increase efficiency by 23% on heavy cutting.
