Overview

The J6 is a horizontal 4‑Axis/5‑Axis, high-speed, high production, single table horizontal machining center in Makino's J-Series. It features a stacked axis design and single table configuration that promotes highly efficient chip removal from the machining area. The J6 family is designed specifically around machining of near‑net shape, non‑ferrous workpieces and offers a compact floor layout in three kinematic variations. Two four‑axis J6s are offered, with either an A‑axis or a B‑axis, and one five‑axis J6 is offered with a B over A axis configuration. True three point leveling allows for quick machine installation and long-term stability of equipment alignments.
