The SFF Static Digital Frequency Relay - Legacy manufacturing for this product has been discontinued. As an alternative, please refer to the 3 Series relays. Type SFF relays are digital frequency relays designed to operate when the system frequency changes to a predetermined level. They may be set for over-, under-, or restore-frequency operation. Versions are available with one, two, or four frequency points independently settable for function, frequency value, and output delay. Features include easy setpoint setup, AC or DC control power, and a drawout case. Protection and control capabilities include under and overfrequency with undervoltage cutoff, and related resources such as brochures, manuals, support documents, and application notes are provided. The relay is used in load shedding frequency schemes. It operates when system frequency reaches predetermined levels and provides under- and overfrequency protection with undervoltage cutoff to support those schemes.
