V-Series non-cycling refrigerated dryers

Overview

Ingersoll Rand's V-Series non-cycling refrigerated dryers deliver clean, dry compressed air and consistently maintain an industry-standard dew point across varying load levels. The air treated by these dryers meets ISO 8573-1 Air Quality Class 5-6 pressure dew point standards, and this performance is validated by the Compressed Air and Gas Institute (CAGI). These dryers use continuous refrigerant circulation for constant-demand operation, incorporate integrated moisture separators and drains, and are described as compact with user-friendly design features. Feature sets differ by capacity: for 5-50 cfm models there are smooth bore, copper tube-on-tube heat exchangers, a static condenser design, pneumatically operated internal float drains on 5-15 scfm models, electronic drain valves on 25-50 scfm models, CFC free R134a refrigerant, and CSA approval; for 75–1200 cfm models there are stainless steel heat exchangers, a moisture separator that removes condensate from 0 to 100% flow conditions, an adjustable Timed Electric Drain with strainer, illuminated On/Off switch and dew point displays on specified subranges, and refrigerant options of CFC free R134a (75-125 scfm) or R407c (150-1200 scfm). The V-Series non-cycling refrigerated dryers are presented for applications where preventing system corrosion, tool damage, or product downtime is critical by delivering clean, dry compressed air. Continuous refrigerant circulation is noted as ideal for applications requiring constant demand. Analog dew point indicators are included on models 25-150 CFM and LED dew point displays (with illuminated On/Off switch and dry alarm contact where specified) are provided on models 200-1200 CFM to enable continuous monitoring of air quality and prompt detection of dew point deviations.
