The Taco 4900 Series Bronze Air Separators are designed for the complete elimination of air from closed loop heating and cooling systems up to a maximum temperature of 240°F and a maximum pressure of 150 PSI. The 4900 Series uses a patented PALL ring process for micro-bubble separation to remove gases from water and eliminate damaging effects and system noise. Performance Data: - Maximum Operating Pressure: 150 PSI - Max. Operating Temperature: 240°F - Min. Operating Temperature: 25°F - Media: Water or Water/Glycol up to 50% - Max. Velocity: 5 feet/sec Features include connection sizes, availability in multiple connection types, a closable vent, minimal pressure loss, a protective vent plate, convenient expansion tank connection tapping, no minimum run of pipe requirement, and bidirectional flow.
