Overview

QJ Series Hollow Blade Dryer (Hollow impeller Dryer)(Hollow Paddle Dryer) is applicable for drying or cooling of paste, particle, powder and slurry state of material and can perform drying, cooling, heating, sterilizing, reacting and combustion under low temperature. The dryer uses special chock shaped hollow stirring and heat-transferring blades concentrated on a hollow shaft; heat media flow through the blade from the hollow shaft and the chock shaped blade surface provides a self-cleaning function. The temperature range of heating media is -40  to 320  and the media may be steam or liquid state media such as steam or thermal oil; heating is indirect so no heat is carried out by air. The Hollow Blade Dryer is explicitly applied in foodstuff, chemical, petrochemical, dyestuff, industrial mud, fine chemical, mixed fertilizer and character transformed starch industries. It is used for unit operations including combustion (low temperature), cooling, drying (including recovery of solvent), heating (melting), reacting and sterilizing. The dryer is noted for drying without hot air, enabling solvent recovery and handling heat-sensitive materials that are prone to combustion or oxidation, and it can perform cooling with water and chill salted water as an alternative to a base air cooler in Na2CO3 processing; it has also been used for sterilizing food and starch.
