TruArc Weld 1000

Overview

TruArc Weld 1000 is an automated arc welding cell configured with a collaborative robot UR10e with six axes and a force moment sensor, and a linear axis that positions the robot on the left or right. Axis data lists the robot as a collaborating industrial robot arm with Number of axes: 6, Range: 1300 mm and Repeatability: +/- 0.05 mm. The welding source is FRONIUS TPS 320i C PULSE with a welding current range MIG/MAG 3 A - 320 A; the system can include the welding package PMC, an ultra-slim 350 ampere torch and an external wire feed system, and offers an optional technology package for CMT welding and pendulum welding. The machine includes a 3D work table with hole pattern D16 in a 50 x 50 mm grid and a hardened surface with table dimensions 2000 x 1000 x 100 mm, cabin dimensions 3605 mm x 2454 mm x 2818 mm and weight 2940 kg. Standard safety and equipment features described include a safety cabin with integrated exhaust system, automatically opening anti-glare protection and lighting, a partition wall for two-station operation, Smart Seam Tracking for live seam adjustment, intuitive programming at the torch and robot control, an option for loading by crane, and digital connection interfaces based on the OPC UA standard. The TruArc Weld 1000 is presented as an automated arc welding cell for small and medium series and supports one- or two-station operation to either process a larger component or process smaller components in larger batches parallel to production. Demonstrated sample parts and measured benefits include a console (25 mm plate on 8 mm curved sheet metal with five weld seams) for which automated welding is 21% faster than manual welding even for one piece, and a transport securing device made of 6 mm mild steel that can save 63% with automated welding starting from a lot size of 8. The system is intended for fast deployment with set-up and start-up within just a few hours, offers an optional cabinless serial release for particularly large components, supports loading by crane for heavy parts, and provides digital integration options (including OPC UA) for connection to monitoring and analysis tools.
