JDX Jet Dispense Valve

Overview

The JDX Jet Dispense Valve is an extremely fast, true non-contact jet dispenser that precisely dispenses viscosities up to 400,000 cps and can produce drops as small as 10 nl. It can apply multiple drops-per-location at a speed up to 300 drops/second and can dispense into areas with clearance as small as 300µm. The valve uses a unique single, easily replaceable diaphragm with very small mass that eliminates dynamic fluid seals, enables fast cycle rates, and removes the need to remove the jet from the robot to clean and replace worn seals. Additional features include only two wetted components, an integrated fluid heater with minimal fluid heated, tungsten carbide internal components for long life, and support for single shot or continuous mode. Explicitly supported applications for the JDX include Bonding, Conformal Coating, Encapsulation & Glob Top, Surface Mount Adhesive / Solder Paste, and Underfill. The JDX dispenses a wide range of fluids such as underfill, coatings, adhesives, epoxies and lubricants and is shown applied for micro coating, medical device assembly, LED assembly, underfill, and die bonding.
