FGP – Flushable Gear Pump

Overview

FGP 6 Flushable Gear Pump is a flushable pump that supplies paint to a coating applicator and is composed of the gear pump(s), micro valve and manifold. By the gear(s) equipped, the fixed delivery rate is always stabilized from P. IN&OUT. Bypass with the axis washing function enables quick color change and washing. Delivery rate is settable by remote operation, the unit is electric and allows automatic control and fine-tuning of delivery rate; delivery is stated as stable for a variety of paints and small delivery rates (with use of special gear ratio), and there is no allowance in setting unlike the gear-less drive mechanism type drive unit (there is no hysteresis in the setting). Suitable for supplying paint to a coating applicator equipped with a long stroke reciprocator to achieve uniform film thickness in the vertical direction of the coating object. It is intended to keep delivery rate stability during temperature changes, for paints that are easy to be clogged, and for long-run use where delivery rate stability is required. Bypass with the axis washing function provides quick color change and washing, and the pump can be used in conjunction with an electrostatic coating applicator with high transfer efficiency to realize the pump's advantages.
