Model Overview & Specs

Overview

UNIMIX vacuum processing units at laboratory scale include LM laboratory mixers and SRT pilot mixers. LM laboratory mixers allow recording of development data and provide a basis for subsequent scale-up; speed, temperature and pressure can be adjusted variably. The LM series uses a plug-in homogenization system that serves for internal and external homogenization, product discharge and as an in-situ cleaning pump and is available in 3 or 6 liter versions. The PARAVISC agitator provides radial and axial mixing performance, and the system is designed so that no additional pump is required for product discharge. Model-specific dimensions and weights: - LM 3: Useful volume 1 – 3 l; Length 885 mm; Width 480 mm; Height, closed 1100 mm; Lid open 1260 mm; Net weight 160 kg - LM 6: Useful volume 2 – 6 l; Length 885 mm; Width 480 mm; Height, closed 1100 mm; Lid open 1260 mm; Net weight 174 kg - SRT 15: Useful volume 15 l; Length 1760 mm; Width 810 mm; Height, closed 1550 mm; Lid open 500 mm; Net weight 700 kg - SRT 25: Useful volume 25 l; Length 1760 mm; Width 810 mm; Height, closed 1600 mm; Lid open 500 mm; Net weight 800 kg - SRT 50: Useful volume 50 l; Length 1860 mm; Width 1010 mm; Height, closed 1880 mm; Lid open 600 mm; Net weight 1000 kg - LSRT 70: Useful volume 70 l; Length 1860 mm; Width 1010 mm; Height, closed 2000 mm; Lid open 700 mm; Net weight 1200 kg UNIMIX LM laboratory mixers are used to record important data during product development and to provide a reliable basis for later scale-up. The LM models support variable adjustment of speed, temperature and pressure during development work. UNIMIX SRT pilot mixers are designed for product and process development (scaling) and are stated as ideal for producing small batches of creams, ointments, gels, toothpaste and eyelash mask in batch sizes between 15 and 70 liters. UNIMIX units are offered for testing at the EKATO SYSTEMS laboratory in Schopfheim, Germany and are also available as rental equipment for trial runs.
