Strippit VX

Overview

Strippit VX is a punching machine with a 48-station turret, including four 3.5" indexable stations, and a maximum tool capacity of 76 when using Multi-Tools. Nominal worksheet sizes are 49.2" x 98.4" (VX-1225) and 60" x 120" (VX-1530); maximum punching capacity for both VX-1225 and VX-1530 is 20 metric tons and maximum material thickness is 0.250". Punching performance includes 920 HPM at 1 mm pitch, 530 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch and marking at 1750 HPM; punching accuracy is ± 0.004" with repetitive accuracy ± 0.002" and angular positioning accuracy ± 0.05 degrees; combined positioning speed X-Y is 161 m/min.; feed clearance is 0.984"; brush table capacity is up to 330 lbs.; work chute size is 17.7" x 19.7". Features include a fully bushed sleeved turret with replaceable sleeves, a high/low servo controlled hydraulic ram system, a fully stress relieved single-piece bridge frame, Smart Stroke automatic tool hover height, quick-change die holders with 15 seconds die change and a tool change time of 0.8 sec., three programmable and relocatable work clamps with sheet pull out sensors, LVD Touch-P control and the CADMAN software suite; average power consumption is 6.7 kW and standby operation is 0.9 kW. The Strippit VX supports high-productivity punching operations through high hit rates enabled by the servo-controlled hydraulic ram and Smart Stroke, and increases tooling capacity with indexable stations and Multi-Tools. Generous feed clearance allows forming, programmable and relocatable clamps with sheet pull out sensors support full sheet utilization, and a programmable parts removal chute evacuates parts up to 17.7" x 19.7"; MOVit modular automation options (Compact Autoload, Compact Tower CT-P, Flexible Automation FA-P, Tower Automation TAS and Warehouse Automation WAS) and CADMAN software provide automated loading/unloading, part sorting and integrated programming, data collection, job tracking and KPI indication via the Touch-i4 tablet.
