RV-Series Reciprocating Compressor (2-15 HP)

Overview

Reciprocating, oil-lubricated compressor series covering 2–15 HP (1.5-11.2 kW) pump packages and bare pumps intended for industrial compressed-air service. Packages are available with ASME coded receivers in multiple tank capacities (examples include 80 Gal., 120 Gal., and an 80 Gal. “80S” squat receiver) and in horizontal and vertical tank configurations. A 0-300 PSIG Air-Pressure Gauge is mounted on the tank and units include a preset pressure switch for automatic start/stop control. Electrical supply options listed: 208/230/460/575 V. Suitable for plant compressed-air service where fixed, receiver-mounted reciprocating compressors are required for intermittent or steady air demand up to the series’ rated pressure range (ratings and valve capability provided up to 175 psig). Typical industrial installation configurations include vertical receiver packages for smaller footprints and horizontal/HRV packages for larger capacity/space layouts; bare pumps (RV-10A, RV-15A, RV-30A) are available for integration into custom systems or enclosures. Packages include NEMA-rated electric motors and magnetic starters to integrate with standard industrial electrical controls and to provide automatic start/stop operation using the preset pressure switch; selection of motor HP, package type, and motor RPM affects delivered CFM and duty suitability.
