COUNTER-PRESSURE CASTING LINE

Overview

The Fill COUNTER-PRESSURE CASTING LINE is a complete system for the production of high-quality cast aluminum parts. Depending on the requirements, sand cores or casting screens are placed in the mold manually or fully automated. When pressure is applied in the furnace chamber and in the die space, the molten metal rises through a riser pipe from the holding into the die, where it solidifies, the die opens and the casting is ejected. Castings are removed fully automatically from the casting machines and, depending on customer requirements, transferred to subsequent processes, such as cooling and raw part processing. Features include configuration according to customer needs and part-dependent setups, quick scaffolding of new components, mixed production possible depending on the part, ergonomic design for service-friendly maintenance, low-turbulence casting, pressurized solidification for the production of low-porosity castings, individual setting of casting curves, and high productivity due to high traversing speeds. The machine is designed according to customer-specific requirements and the resulting technical data are defined in collaboration with the customer. Components referenced for the system include PRESSURE CASTER, COOLING BASIN, CYBERNETICS PRODUCE, CYBERNETICS SIMULATION, and CYBERNETICS VISION. The COUNTER-PRESSURE CASTING LINE is used for the production of high-quality cast aluminum parts with pressurized solidification to produce low-porosity castings. The system supports manual or fully automated placement of sand cores or casting screens, enables mixed production depending on the part, and performs fully automatic removal and transfer of castings to subsequent processes such as cooling and raw part processing.
