Overview

Endevco’s Accelerometer Simulator Model 4830B is a handheld, battery-operated signal generator designed to mimic the electrical output of common accelerometers. Outputs include: - Single-ended Charge (pC) - Differential Charge (pC) - Single-ended Voltage (mV) - Tachometer (TTL) - IEPE - current sinking, 2-20 mA, at a compliance voltage of 24 VDC. Signal outputs cover 1 Hz to 20 kHz with 0.5 Hz resolution, and the Tachometer output covers 1 Hz to 25 kHz. Amplitude capability is up to 10,000 pC or mV pk; acceleration and velocity are in pk units and displacement is in pk-pk; FFT input maximum is 5 V pk. The unit features an adjustable output level, an on-screen vibration calculator, the ability to create, store, and recall up to 40 simulation profiles, and an adjustable TTL-based Tachometer output for condition monitoring systems.
