MU-8000V

Overview

The MU-8000V is a 5-axis vertical machining center with a highly rigid double-column structure and a trunnion table that provides a low center of gravity in workpiece movement. Its high-speed, high-accuracy trunnion table enables fast, accurate positioning for simultaneous 5-axis cutting and supports both heavy-duty cutting and high-speed finishing. The machine is built on Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly structure to perform consistently from the first part to the last regardless of warm-up time or ambient temperature. The MU-8000V uses Okuma OSP-P500 control (Specifications shown are for OSP-P500 configuration) and can be adapted for APC, multiple ATC, automation, or FMS with expansion at the back of the machine.
