HERO 100+

Overview

The HERO 100+ Waterjet Intensifier Pump is rated to 60,000 psi (4,100 bar) with a UHP flow rate of 2.1 gpm (7.9 lpm) and a max rated orifice size of 0.020 in (0.51 mm). It uses two single piston, dual plunger intensifiers with tie rod design and includes a single, 2 quart (1.9 liters) attenuator. Motor output is 100 hp (75 kw) driven by a TEFC NEMA premium efficiency motor with full load amps @ 460vac: (60Hz) 121. Jet Smart+ Controls provide an Advanced Controls Touch Screen, maintenance schedules with prompts, Soft Start motor starter, remote pump start, dual pressure set points, check tube temp sensor, bleed down temp sensor, auto leakage sensor, electronic hydraulic pressure control, optional remote analog pressure control, and a light stack beacon with audible warning. The Plus configuration adds a Soft Start Motor Starter, Light Stack with audible warning, check tube sensors, bleed down sensor and auto leakage sensor as premium features. Construction features heavy-gauge sheet metal covers, a rugged all-steel welded framework, hinged cover and quick-remove access covers, and a Sound Insulating Kit. Hydraulics include an axial piston, variable displacement, pressure-compensated hydraulic pump, a thermostatically-controlled cooling loop (requires additional water supply), a hydraulic accumulator, and a reservoir capacity of 103 gallons (390 liters). Incoming water control and an optional boost pump are included, and the low-pressure process water supply requirement is 2.1 gpm (7.9 lpm) @ 30 psi (2 bar) min; max water temp is 70aF (21aC); ambient air temperature is 50 6100aF (10 37aC). When teamed with a Jet Edge motion system, multiple cutting heads can be configured for both waterjet cutting and abrasive waterjet cutting. The HERO 100+ provides the power to drive greater water volumes at Ultra High Pressure utilizing Jet Smart+ Controls.
