Overview

DJZ500-8000 series three effect energy-saving external circulation vacuum concentrator is an external heating, natural circulation concentrator that operates in a negative pressure evaporation mode. The unit uses three-effect simultaneous evaporation with secondary steam performing repeated action. The concentrator is described as having fast evaporation speed and a concentration ratio up to 1.2-1.3. Compared with a single-effect concentrator, the design reduces energy consumption by 70% and is said to save boiler investment; energy savings can recover the entire investment in less than one year. The parts in contact with material are made of stainless steel (OCr18Ni9) and conform to GMP standards, the heater and evaporator are outside the insulation layer, and the insulation layer is finished with a stainless steel grinding pattern plate. Multi-functional operation features include the ability to recover alcohol concentration of about 80%, to operate one effect, two effects or three effects with repeated and pot-to-collect paste, and to accept intermittent or continuous feed. The concentrator is suitable for concentrating solutions of traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, glucose, starch, monosodium glutamate, dairy products, and chemical industry solutions. It is explicitly noted as suitable for low-temperature vacuum concentration of thermosensitive materials. The equipment also supports alcohol recovery operations, capable of recovering alcohol concentration of about 80%.
