FFThemtec Verso

Overview

The FFThemtec Verso is a standardized roller hemming head for door entry, wheel arch and side wall applications. It supports flat rebate and teardrop rebate geometries and is suitable for steel & aluminum. The standardized base body is provided with 3 pairs of rebate rollers. Technical features include a counter roller, a folding system for folds with flange opening angles <130°, support for pre- and finish folds, folding pressure for final folds adjustable via a proportional valve, and a floating bearing with pneumatic compensation in vehicle Y. As a robot-guided tool the base body can be configured with up to four pairs of hemming rollers, and the product is compatible with the roller cleaning system H4 130 RC; proven components and low maintenance requirements are cited to support reliable operation and easy spare parts procurement. The Verso is intended for hemming flanges on door entry, wheel arch and side wall components, with field of application listed as Side wall / wheel house. It is described for seamless integration into production processes as a robot-guided tool and for customized production of roller hemming heads with variable roller geometries and positions, and it is compatible with the roller cleaning system H4 130 RC.
