RTRM-2.5-I Tilt Rotate Positioner

Overview

The RTRM-2.5-I is a low-profile, 2‑Axis (Tilt-Rotate) positioner designed to pair with cobots and small industrial robots. It positions parts at any angle—horizontal and up to 90° vertical—and is described as having a compact footprint with small floorspace requirements and low centerline height. Rotate-axis specifications: 10 rpm speed; 360° continuous motion; steel table; reducer ratio 153:1; backlash 1 arc‑min. Tilt-axis specifications: 6 rpm speed; ±90° motion; reducer ratio 153:1; backlash 1 arc‑min. Nominal payload is up to 250 kg and ratings are based on FANUC B 8/3000 servos. Table diameter is Ø 350 mm with bolt circle Ø 200 mm (8x M8 x 1.25 – 6H), anchor holes 4x Ø 15 thru all, and additional locating features including rotate and tilt homing bushing locations and homing pins. Load center of gravity offset charts are available for allowable ranges and inertia limits. The RTRM-2.5-I is intended to position parts for easier, more consistent welding and part access by pairing with cobots and small industrial robots and by providing horizontal rotation and up to 90° vertical tilt to support complex weld orientations. Repeatable setup and integration into a weld cell are supported by locating features, homing pins, and rotate/tilt homing bushing locations, and load center of gravity offset charts are available to consult for allowable ranges and inertia limits.
