BX Belt Scale

Overview

The Coperion BX Belt Scale series comprises two configurations: Model BX-4 with a 4 idler bridge and Model BX-2 with a 2 idler bridge, both employing high accuracy dual tension strain gauge load cell weighing technology in an approach-retreat design. Each BX series belt scale suspension is designed to match existing stringer gauge and idler spacing. Feed rates range from 10 to 100 t/h and the scales are designed for belt widths from 35.5 to 243.8 cm [14 to 96 in]. Accuracy is specified as Model BX-4 ± 1/4% of totalized weight over a 3 to 1 range and Model BX-2 ± 1/2% of totalized weight over a 3 to 1 range (accuracy static weighing system). The units are fully assembled and tested prior to shipment and require no special tools for installation. The construction is described as rugged for service in harsh environments, and custom designs are available.
