The Transmission shim selection machine measures the relative height of two parts prior to assembly so that the proper preload is applied to the bearing of the drive shaft of the transmission. It is a measuring instrument that selects a shim with appropriate thickness for assembly by calculation. The product is provided as a customized machine. Intended for use in automobile transmission assembly, including AT and CVT applications. It is used to measure part positioning height before assembly and to calculate and select the correct shim thickness to achieve the required preload on the transmission drive shaft bearing.
