Oxyfuel Contour Bevel Unit

Overview

Oxyfuel Contour Bevel Unit is a semi-automatic oxyfuel bevel system. It provides continuous bevel cuts in mild steel with automatic contour control, manual torch ignition, and manual bevel angle adjustment. The unit cuts top and bottom bevels in a single pass and is capable of K, X, V, & Y bevel configurations. Electro/mechanical height sensing maintains proper stand-off for accurate bevel cuts, collision detection causes the unit to raise, and the Z-Axis uses a motorized lifter slide for extension and retraction when moving from one part to the next. Cutting is fully controlled by Messer's Global ControlPlus touch-screen control with a Windows-style interface, and continuous rotation allows contour bevel cutting with no cable; an "Un-wrap" cycle is required. Designed to perform continuous contour bevel cutting in mild steel, including top and bottom bevels in a single pass. Suitable for producing K, X, V, and Y bevel configurations with automatic contour control and electro/mechanical contact height sensing. The motorized Z-Axis lifter slide facilitates extension and retraction when moving between parts, and continuous rotation supports contour cutting without cable constraints.
