Model Overview & Specs

Overview

The Finite Element Method provides the optimal machine design to build a light-weight, yet super rigid machine structure. The rigid U-shaped base includes dual linear guide ways on each side (four guide ways on the U-shaped base) to provide a solid basis for the cross beam. The machine has a heavy load fixed type work table whose T-slots are finished at the factory after machine setup and geometric accuracy adjustments to ensure perfect alignment. The Y-axis sectional guide ways offset increases structural rigidity and reduces the distance between spindle head and cross beam, minimizing distortion and vibration and enhancing overall cutting performance and accuracy. Super rigid roller type linear guide ways on the X, Y and Z axes provide heavy-duty cutting capability, fast movement and low friction, and direct-drive servo motors on all linear axes deliver ample thrust and dynamic response; the X-axis is equipped with one linear scale on each column for accuracy and parallel movement, and the Z-axis is driven by dual ball screws and servo motors without a hydraulic counterweight system for superior dynamic response. The machine is intended for heavy-duty cutting operations, providing the rigidity and guide-way design required for such cutting. It is also suited to applications demanding fast movement, low friction, high dynamic response, and enhanced cutting performance and accuracy while minimizing distortion and vibration.
