Overview

SERVOCUT 402-AA is a universal metallographic cutting machine with a robust and reliable design, low noise and emission levels, and a powerful 7.5 kW cutting motor (S1). The machine supports X-Y-Z axis control with motor-driven axis controls and ergonomic proportional joystick operation, and it includes a 7 inch coloured HMI touch screen with user-friendly software that can save up to 99 cutting programs. Max. Wheel Diameter is Ø400 mm and Max. Cutting Capacity, Ø is Ø150 mm; Max. Cutting Capacity, HxD is listed as #85x350 mm. Table dimensions are 550x484 mm with a T-Slot Dimension of 12 mm, Z-Axis Travel is 255 mm and Y-Axis Travel is 300 mm. Wheel Speed range is 600-3200 RPM and Cutting Feedrate is 20-5000 µm/s. The SERVOCUT 402-AA is designed for cutting a very wide range of materials including large, hard and complex-shaped specimens and cylindrical specimens up to Ø150 mm, using cut-off wheels up to Ø400 mm. It offers automated cutting modes (auto chop Z-axis and auto table-feed Y-axis) and programmable HMI control for repeatable, stored cutting programs. Rapid Pulse Cutting and Table Oscillating Cutting are provided for very hard and heat-sensitive specimens to reduce contact time and heat generation, and Combined Cutting is available for specimens that cannot be cut in a single cycle. Manual joystick cutting is supported for quick, non-programmed cuts, and optional automatic cleaning and fume/mist removing units are available to keep the cutting chamber clean and to manage fumes and mist generated during cutting.
