Model Overview & Specs
Overview
The EPM 5200 Power Metering System - Legacy was discontinued as of April 8, 2011; the EPM 6000 is recommended as an alternative. It measures electrical voltage, current and power values and provides revenue grade electrical energy readings. The unit delivers revenue accurate, true RMS measurements of over 80 voltage, current and power values including bi-directional energy. The EPM 5200 supports Modbus RTU protocol with an RS485 interface, features a bright LED display, fits a standard ANSI cutout, and supports three phase connections to 4-wire wye and 3-wire delta systems. The EPM 5200 is intended for energy management and load monitoring applications. It is ideal for sub-metering and cost allocation and serves as a monitor for meter rooms and electrical equipment. The device is designed for power monitoring in both new construction and meter retrofit projects.
