Overview

The DC2500CS3 is a Large die casting machine. Machine Die-Locking Force - Metric (Metric Tons): 2651; Machine Die-Locking Force - US Standard (US Tons): 2923. Tie Bar Clearance Distance (HxW) - Metric (mm): 1700 - 1600; Tie Bar Clearance Distance (HxW) - US Standard (in): 66.9 - 63. Injection Speed - Metric (m/sec): 0.1 - 7; Injection Speed - US Standard (in/sec): 3.9 - 275.6. Die Thickness - Metric (mm): 900 - 1700; Die Thickness - US Standard (in): 35.4 - 66.9. All machine models come with the TOSCAST-888 controller as standard and a large 15-inch screen. The controller offers multilingual capability, input restriction control, trouble diagnostic functions by SHIBAURA MACHINE, and optional host communication. The Line Display shows 48 standard items selected from a list of over 200 and can monitor 16 temperature points. The injection waveform display can show vacuum and position waveform simultaneously and can add a different waveform. The TOSCAST-888 includes a password function; alarm displays indicate causes including location (by photograph/drawing) with what to check and how to check; an ON/OFF status display of sensors, solenoids, and limit switches; and a PLC circuit-monitoring function for real-time monitoring on the TOSCAST screen. The TC200 Sequencer supports real-time monitoring without connecting to a PC, contact designations can be written in Japanese or English, and for safety the values and/or logic cannot be changed. Shibaura Machine improved pressure buildup by improving the hydraulic intensification circuit. A new intensification start control starts the intensification always at the same timing even with ladling volume variation and is effective in cases of higher fast shot speeds and/or using the slowdown control. Die-locking rigidity was changed and a new die-locking system was developed and put on the R-series to enable high productivity under harsh environments. The Automatic Ladle Device is a HIGH ACCURACY LADLE DEVICE with servomotor drives for the traveling and pouring axes to achieve excellent stop position accuracy and stable motions, a timing belt for the upper part of pouring drive transmission and a double-roller chain for the lower part, and it is controlled and monitored by the same control as the machine, eliminating the need for an additional or external PLC. R-series energy-saving options include the R-E machine electric die locking system, hybrid injection, energy saving circuit, and an optional servo pump. The Squeeze Master (SQM-3) gives full control and high pressure to squeeze targeted locations of die tooling while solidifying to reduce porosity. dPAQET is able to monitor real-time conditions of over 50 machines and collect conditions of operation, line data and shot profile data.
