Overview

Handheld digital multimeter offering 4000-count LCD readout (updates 3/sec) in a 183 x 91 x 49.5 mm housing and weighing 455 g. Power is supplied by 2 AA batteries (NEDA 15A, IEC LR6) with a minimum battery life of 500 hours; backlight is provided for low-light work. Environmental and mechanical ratings: IP 40, operating temperature 0 °C to 40 °C, storage temperature -30 °C to 60 °C, operating altitude 2000 m, storage altitude 12,000 m, and specified relative humidity limits (non-condensing; ≤90% RH at 10 °C to 30 °C; ≤75% RH at 30 °C to 40 °C on most ranges, with alternate RH limits for certain ranges listed by the manufacturer). Designed for industrial electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and panel/field service where voltage, current, resistance, frequency and basic component tests are required with traceable accuracy. Safety and service-relevant items important for plant use: IEC 61010-1 and IEC61010-2-030 compliance, CAT III 600 V rating, Pollution Degree 2, maximum voltage between any terminal and earth ground 1000 V, and current-input protection implemented by manufacturer-specified fast fuses (440 mA, 1000 V and 11A, 1000 V fast fuses).
