Model Overview & Specs
Overview
HQR is a 2-turret/2-spindle CNC turning center with milling and Y-axis function. W: 2nd spindle (W-axis). The upper and lower turrets are arranged in a straight line in the X-axis direction; synchronized machining of both turrets enables balance cutting that minimizes workpiece displacement and simultaneous turning of left/right workpieces to significantly reduce cycle time. The conversational MAZATROL program simplifies programming by selecting machining requirements such as workpiece material and surface finish to automatically generate cutting conditions and tool paths, and the machine also accepts EIA/ISO programs. To use the lower turret, input the "lower turret mark" to the respective tool; single, simultaneous, and balanced cuts with upper and lower turrets can be created using the conversational program and the conversational mode does not require determining and inputting feedrates for each axis movement. Optional automation equipment includes bar feeders, work loaders, workpiece unloaders, and robots for long-term automatic operation. A bar feeder and workpiece unloader enable effective operation from bar material to finished workpiece, and the workpiece unloader removes the workpiece by a conveyor and carries it out from the machine without damaging the high-quality finished surface. HQR-150MSY — Spindle bore: Φ2.99"; Chuck size: 6″; Max. machining diameter: Φ11.625"; Max. machining length: 24.375". HQR-200MSY — Spindle bore: Φ2.99"; Chuck size: 8″; Max. machining diameter: Φ13.5"; Max. machining length: 33.9"/ 52.2". HQR-250MSY — Spindle bore: Φ3.58"; Chuck size: 10″; Max. machining diameter: Φ13.5"; Max. machining length: 33.9"/ 52.2". The machine is designed to perform balance cutting and simultaneous left/right machining by synchronized use of the upper and lower turrets, and it can execute single, simultaneous, and balanced cuts created via the conversational MAZATROL program. Programming can be simplified by selecting machining requirements such as workpiece material and surface finish, and programs can also be created in EIA/ISO format. Long-term automatic operation is supported through optional automation equipment including bar feeders, workpiece unloaders, work loaders, and robots, enabling effective operation from bar material to finished workpiece and removal of finished parts by a conveyor-equipped workpiece unloader.
