MPX1950

Overview

The MPX1950 is a high speed six-axis robot optimized for painting and dispensing applications, creating a smooth, consistent finish with outstanding efficiency. It has a payload capacity of 7.0 kg and a hollow inline wrist, with a horizontal reach of 1450 mm and a vertical reach of 2730 mm. Controller: DX200; controlled by DX200-FM robot controller and operated with an easy-to-use touch screen teach pendant, with an optional intrinsically safe pendant. It is Factory Mutual approved for use in Class I, Div. 1 hazardous environments and supports floor, wall or ceiling mounting; an optional manipulator cable connection location reduces interference with walls. The robot supports application-specific software, paint hardware configurations, paint control instructions and standard networks. Applications listed for the MPX1950 are painting and dispensing, and it is optimized for painting small- to medium-sized parts. The reduced interference envelope and slim arm design enable painting of workpieces closer to the robot and contribute to a small installation footprint. The 7.0 kg payload capacity and hollow inline wrist are well-suited for mounting an array of spray guns and small bells, and the system supports paint hardware configurations and paint control instructions managed by the DX200-FM controller and teach pendant. Factory Mutual approval for use in Class I, Div. 1 hazardous environments is specified for applicable painting operations.
