Overview

E-Motor Test Stands are designed to deliver comprehensive performance validation and analysis for electric motors, supporting a wide range of testing needs and operational configurations. From semi-automated manual load options to fully automated conveyor or robot loading, the test stands provide flexibility and adaptability, and they can be configured with or without an integrated inverter. Advanced analysis functions include: - HVIL switch testing - Temperature sensor validation - Isolation resistance and dielectric breakdown tests - Phase and resolver offset measurements - BEMF harmonic and rotor lock analysis - Overspeed and freewheeling efficiency tests - Power analysis and full-power testing - NVH testing and liquid cooling performance validation High-performance specifications include speeds up to 30,000 rpm, torque up to 2500 Nm nominal and 4000 Nm peak, and power output up to 480kW nominal and 760kW peak. Voltage is up to 1200V DC and current up to 800A nominal/1300A peak. Communications compatibility includes Automotive Ethernet, CAN (FD), Flexray, and EtherCAT, diagnostic protocols include UDS and residual bus simulation, and the stands feature patented automatic MUT alignment for seamless testing. These test stands are used for comprehensive performance validation and analysis of electric motors. They support testing workflows ranging from semi-automated manual load to fully automated conveyor or robot loading and can be configured with or without an integrated inverter. Explicitly supported analyses and validation use cases include HVIL switch testing; temperature sensor validation; isolation resistance and dielectric breakdown tests; phase and resolver offset measurements; BEMF harmonic and rotor lock analysis; overspeed and freewheeling efficiency tests; power analysis and full-power testing; NVH testing; and liquid cooling performance validation. Communications compatibility with Automotive Ethernet, CAN (FD), Flexray, and EtherCAT and diagnostic protocols including UDS and residual bus simulation are provided to support those testing activities.
