VF-5/50TR

Overview

The VF-5/50TR is a trunnion CNC vertical mill with 50" x 26" x 25" travels and is a 5-axis machining center based on the VF-5/50 VMC platform. The trunnion is mounted directly to the machine's standard T-slot table and can be removed for 3-axis machining. It is capable of full 5-axis contouring and provides full simultaneous five-axis motion. Spindle and drive features include a 50-taper spindle with a 2-Speed Gearbox, Max Speed 7500 rpm, Spindle Power 30.0 hp (Max Rating: 30.0 hp) and Max Torque 340.0 ft-lbf @ 700 rpm. The taper is CT or BT 50 and the drive system is specified as a 2-Speed Gearbox. The removable trunnion allows the machine to be returned to 3-axis operation when five-axis capability is not required.
