SMX2600S

Overview

SMX2600S is a model in the SMX series of high-performance multi-axis mill-turn machines. The SMX Series provides a total of nine axes. SMX2600S specifications include a chuck size of 10 inch, Max. Turning Diameter 660 mm / 26 inch, and Max. Turning Length 1540 mm / 61 inch. SMX machines combine left and right spindles, a B-axis milling function and a lower turret to deliver enhanced multi-tasking capability. The series features an orthogonal structure to maximize machining space, a 12-station high-rigidity servo turret, 0.0001-degree precision control of the B-axis and C-axis, optimized cooling with smart thermal compensation to minimize thermal displacement, a front-located tool magazine with an ATC operation panel, a side-to-side movable swivelling operation panel with adjustable height, and a user-friendly work guidance function. SMX2600S is positioned for complex, high-precision machining tasks that require multi-axis and multi-tasking capability. The machine is intended to improve productivity through powerful multi-tasking, faster machining and shorter setting time. It is also presented for applications needing precise B-axis and C-axis control and minimized thermal displacement during extended runs.
