Pellet mill RWPR

Overview

The Pellet mill RWPR has been specifically designed to withstand the roughest pelleting conditions and achieves highest throughputs for the most challenging raw products. It is capable of processing finely ground wood, straw and other biomass particles, as well as sunflower hulls. An integrated machine control system provides monitoring of process parameters such as raw material moisture content and temperature, and conditioning by water and steam activates binders inherent in the raw material. Dies can be designed for specific raw material to help consistently achieve high-grade pellets. Safety and operational features include rugged paneling that covers moving parts and can only be opened with a key, pneumatic disengagement of the press rolls and operator alerting on unusual operating conditions, a pneumatically operated inlet bypass to automatically release feeding overloads, an automatic lubrication system with a large grease container for smooth continuous production, and an optional extendable on-machine mounting hoist to speed press roll and die changes. The machine is described as operator-friendly with easy user guidance and low maintenance and cleaning requirements. The RWPR is used for pelleting biomass and wood and for pelleting sunflower hulls. It produces pellets for industrial or household use and is indicated as applicable to oilseeds.
