Air Heaters
STULZ GmbH
Model Overview & Specs
Overview
Wall or ceiling units for direct heating in industrial applications using different fluids. The air heaters are made up of a fan, heat exchanger and grille and are terminal units capable of air conditioning large spaces. They are described as robust and compact and represent a solution with high rates of return on investment compared to other heating systems. The main application is in the air conditioning of large industrial, commercial and sports areas. Available in “wall” and “ceiling *” configuration, STULZ Tecnivel air heaters are offered in multiple versions: AB (air heater of hot water, use water as a fluid to heat spaces), ABF (air heater of cold or hot water, use water as a fluid to heat or cool spaces; includes a condensate collection tray at the bottom of the unit), ABA (superheated water dissipator, use water at high temperatures as a fluid to heat spaces) and ABV (steam dissipator, use water vapor as a cooling fluid and their purpose is to heat spaces). *Only AB units have the “ceiling” configuration. Fans: AB models use 4-pole AC axial in 230V-I-50Hz regime, in AB 122/4 models. IP40. In the rest of the models the fans are axial in AC technology of 4 and 6 poles in regime 400V-III-50Hz in standard mode. IP60 Optional: 230V / I / 50HZ * Consult other working voltages. Heat exchangers: AB and ABF use copper tube and aluminum fins; ABA and ABV use steel tube and aluminum fins, with ABA and ABV available, upon consultation, with stainless steel exchangers and aluminum fins. Optional accessories include High Reach and Curtain type. The page includes tabular technical summaries for the AB/ABF and ABA/ABV variants describing Description / Materials, Coil, Dimensions, Sizes / Models, Capacities, Fluid, Fans, Coils per Unit, Airflow direction, Motor and Airflow. Direct heating of spaces using different fluids is an explicit use case, with AB, ABA and ABV variants intended to heat spaces using hot water, superheated water or steam respectively. The ABF variant is explicitly intended to heat or cool spaces and includes a condensate collection tray for cooling operation. The units are intended for air conditioning large spaces and their main application is stated as large industrial, commercial and sports areas. Units are available for wall mounting and AB models additionally offer a ceiling configuration for installation flexibility.
