Overview

All main structure including machine base, column, saddle, head, etc are made of high quality FC30 casts iron, and finite element CAE method was applied to the analysis of casting optimization to achieve high stability, rigidity and avoid deformation. Roller-bearing table provides excellent rigidity and low frictional resistance. The vertical axis is driven by precision ball screw with AC servo motor, supported by linear guide ways and column in double-layers structure for excellent smooth movement. The cross axis is driven by AC servo motor, supported by linear guide ways, to ensure accurate movement. The flange type spindle is supported by super precision angular contact ball bearings #P4, to deliver high positioning accuracy up to 0.002mm. The grinding wheel dresser is mounted at the back, out of working table, and an auto dressing cycle can be preset through the user interface for auto dressing and compensating. The machine adopts Mitsubishi PLC controller with a Mitsubishi color touch screen graphical user interface, and the electrical cabinet and operation box are designed for user convenience; MPG is standard equipped to increase work efficiency. The KGR-Rotary Surface Grinder is configured for rotary surface grinding on a work table with maximum grinding diameters of 600 mm, 800 mm, or 1000 mm depending on model. The machine supports wheel dressing operations via a rear-mounted grinding wheel dresser with an auto dressing and compensating cycle that can be preset through the user interface. Operator control and process setup are handled through the Mitsubishi PLC controller with a Mitsubishi color touch screen and a standard MPG to facilitate operation and increase work efficiency.
