Overview

The KF-II Series is a High Speed & Productivity Vertical Machining Center designed by Hyundai WIA to maximize productivity while maintaining rigidity and accuracy. The series highlights high-precision machining by improved spindle quality, high-speed roller type LM guide in all axes, an upper-type conveyor for enhanced chip processing, various motors and columns for customized machining, and the latest FANUC controller for user convenience. Structural features include a pretensioned, double anchored ball screw to minimize thermal expansion and reinforce rigidity, metal plate couplings between ballscrews and digital servo motors to reduce backlash, nut cooling ball screws on all axes for decreased thermal displacement (KF5600M/6700M), and a direct driven spindle with a maximum revolution of 15,000rpm. The machine offers spindle cooling (Over 10,000 rpm Std.), through-spindle coolant options at 20/30/70 bar, a twin-arm high-speed ATC with improved position control, a tool magazine offered as 30 tools standard and 40 tools optional, interior dual screw chip conveyors with forward/backward rotation, and an NC rotary table plus a 100 bar hydraulic supply unit for fixtures.
