Overview

CMS kreator a3 is a large-format Additive Manufacturing system featuring a screw extrusion unit for thermoplastic polymers with a material throughput of 30 kg/h. Print strategies available are VERTICAL /45° / HORIZONTAL implemented by an extruder tilting device that enables switching from vertical to angled 3D printing. Build axes are X: 2.500 – 9.800 mm, Y: 2.500 mm and Z: 1.300 mm. Maximum temperature is 450°C and nozzle sizes range 10 - 15 mm. The system supports thermoplastic polymers, including carbon and glass fiber reinforced PLA, PETG, ABS, PA6, PC, PEI, and many others, and includes an all-in-one programming and process monitoring environment. Positioned as a cost-effective Large Scale Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) solution, the CMS kreator a3 is presented for industrial applications with an extruder and build volume designed to meet those needs.
