Overview

FJV (CAT No.50) is a high-accuracy double column machining center featuring highly rigid double column construction and linear roller guides on all axes. Distance between columns: 33.9": FJV-35/60, FJV-35/80, FJV-35/120; 59.06": FJV-60/80, FJV-60/120, FJV-60/160; 98.43": FJV-100/120, FJV-100/160. The machine is equipped with high-accuracy built-in motor spindle/motors and achieves high-accuracy positioning by ball screw and direct servo mounting. Ball screw core cooling circulates temperature controlled cooling oil through the ball screw cores, and Ai Thermal Shield suppresses changes in the cutting edge position based on spindle speed and machine temperature; a compact spindle cartridge minimizes interference and a symmetrical spindle unit design minimizes spindle displacement due to heat generation. The FJV series is designed for high-efficiency machining of large workpieces and to handle long shaft workpieces. The optional BT40 18000 rpm high-speed spindle enables highly efficient machining of nonferrous metal and difficult machining material through high speed machining. Optional process-integration features include a multi-surface machining attachment that enables four face machining with one angle tool, an optional additional axis that enables control of the 4th axis by commands in the machining program, and an optional 2-pallet changer to load the next workpiece during machining of the current workpiece. The machine is equipped with the touch screen CNC system MAZATROL SmoothG, which provides QUICK MAZATROL for faster program creation, 3D ASSIST to create programs directly from 3D CAD data, and QUICK EIA to visualize and edit G code.
