Multi-Zonen-Temperaturkammer (MZTC)

Overview

Multi-Zone Temperature Chamber (MZTC) is a battery test chamber available with 4 or 8 independent temperature chambers in one unit and supports cells up to 60A. The unit provides insulation and protection between each chamber to isolate each cell or pair of cells and to simplify connections. The small, independent chambers use state-of-the-art thermal management designed to ensure a stable and uniform temperature for all cells and to prevent a weak or failed cell from affecting others. Control options include Arbin's MITS Pro software or a digital display with pushbutton manual control when used as a single device, and a large LCD touchscreen displays setpoint and measured temperature for each chamber. Each of the 8 zones is equipped with an overpressure valve and the system includes built-in overtemperature protection integrated with the Arbin Cycler to automatically end tests for cells outside tolerance; installation options listed are standalone, stack on rack, or integrate into an Arbin Tester. Individual tests can be started and stopped on a single cell without affecting other cells in the same chamber. The chamber can be controlled via Arbin's MITS Pro software or by the digital display and pushbutton controls for manual operation when used as a standalone device, and it can be combined with an Arbin Battery Tester or used standalone with other testers while showing setpoint and measured temperature for each chamber on the large LCD touchscreen.
