TYPE 1706

Overview

Type 1706 is a high-temperature CCLD microphone preamplifier designed to make acoustical measurements at temperatures up to 125°C (257°F). Polarization: CCLD; Diameter: 1/2 inch; Lower frequency: 10 Hz; Higher frequency: 100 kHz; Connector: BNC. The preamplifier supports a minimum temperature of -4 °F and a maximum temperature of 257 °F. Features include optimised noise specifications, ICP® compatibility, a BNC connector for installation with inexpensive BNC cables, direct connection to CCLD sockets and to LEMO sockets with an adaptor, low output impedance for use with long extension cables, support for TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) and the "Smart Transducer Interface" IEEE 1451.4, and a robust, compact design. Calibration facility: None. Used to make acoustical measurements at high temperature, enabling measurements up to 125°C (257°F) and operable between -4 °F and 257 °F. It accepts 1/2 inch prepolarized microphones and covers a frequency range from 10 Hz to 100 kHz. Low output impedance allows problem-free use of long extension cables, and the BNC connector permits easy installation with inexpensive BNC cables. The preamplifier supports TEDS and the IEEE 1451.4 Smart Transducer Interface and features a robust, compact design for use over a wide range of environmental conditions.
