The MasterCut series

Overview

The MasterCut series is an extremely flexible and robust CNC cutting system that offers high-quality 2D cuts with plasma and oxyfuel and, with the MasterCut rotator, exact bevel cuts for efficient weld edge preparation on flat material, pipes and profiles. The current version features an increased portal bridge weight by 30 percent and increased guides weight by 60 percent, and it uses more powerful servo motors, resulting in more robustness, smoother running, and more precise cuts. Effective length of work area*: 1,500 to 30.000 mm; Effective width of work area*: 1,500 to 4,000 mm. The net area of the working zone can be operated with all available tools. Possible number of tools: 4 (6 oxyfuel). Possible cutting processes: plasma, oxyfuel. Maximum material thickness plasma: according to plasma source. Maximum material thickness oxyfuel: 200 mm. Positioning speed: up to 40,000 mm/min. Positioning accuracy: according to DIN 28206 / ≤ 0.15 mm/m. X, Y axis: linear guides, driven on both sides and helical toothed racks. Z axis: ball screw.
