Overview

Handheld diagnostic videoscope with a dual-view camera (forward and side) and 180° camera rotation for inspecting internal, confined spaces. Camera is fixed-focus with 800 x 600 (480,000 pixels) resolution, adjustable digital zoom from 1x to 8x, 68° field of view, depth of field 25 mm to infinity and minimum focus distance 10 mm. Records stills in JPG and video in AVI with MPEG compression; camera video resolution listed as Standard. Display is a 7 inch (17.79 cm) LCD with 30 hz refresh rate and adjustable LED backlight; real-time upright adjustment (Up is Up™) maintains correct image orientation on the display. Detachable, semi-rigid, waterproof videoscope probe immersible to 1 meter or more; standard probe length 1.2 meter (3.94 feet) and standard diameter 8.5 mm (0.33 inches) with optional 3.8, 5.5 and 9 mm probes available. Probe construction is elastomer coated steel with adjustable LED illumination (on front, one side) providing 53 Lux. Up is Up™ probe support applies to the 8.5 MM, 1.2 M probe. Ruggedness and utilities: probe rated IP68 (dust tight and immersion of 1 meter or more depth); tablet housing rated IP54 (dust protected and protected against water projected from a nozzle); 2 meter (6.56 feet) drop test. Operating temperature 0 °C to 45 °C (32 °F to 113 °F) with allowance to 50 °C (113 °F) for less than 10 minutes; storage temperature -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F); operating humidity 90 % at 35 °C (95 °F); 75 % at 40 °C (104 °F); 45 % at 50 °C (122 °F). Two-year warranty. Power, connectivity and accessories: 6400mAh 3.7 volt rechargeable internal li-ion battery rated for 3 hours at 50 % LED brightness; AC adapter/battery charger input provided. Internal memory 6 GB and USB data transfer for file export. Unit includes protective EVA carrying case, hand strap and intuitive physical controls (4 functional keys, 4 navigational keys and one capture/select button). Color palettes include visible light, grayscale or inverted. Designed for industrial visual inspection and diagnostics of confined or hard-to-reach areas—examples include internal inspection of piping, boilers, heat exchangers, engines, turbines, gearboxes, ductwork and HVAC systems, and general plant maintenance/quality control. The detachable semi-rigid probes and optional smaller diameters allow deployment into varying access openings and routing paths; the IP68-rated probe supports wet or immersible inspections to 1 meter depth. Imaging outputs (JPG stills, AVI video) combined with 6 GB internal memory and USB transfer support on-site documentation and report generation for maintenance records or R&D evaluation. The Up is Up™ orientation, 180° rotation and adjustable LED illumination simplify interpretation when navigating bends or inspecting oriented features. Battery runtime (3 hours at 50 % LED brightness), 2 meter drop resistance, IP54 tablet protection and the supplied EVA case make the system suitable for routine field inspections on manufacturing floors, utilities, petrochemical and power generation sites, aviation MRO shops and other industrial environments where portable, rugged non-destructive visual inspection is required.
