Konecranes belt hoist
Konecranes Plc
Model Overview & Specs
Overview
Konecranes belt hoists are offered in two model classes (BH2 and BH5) for workstation lifting applications, using a white Dyneema® lifting belt and hooks manufactured according to EN10131. Both classes are rated for indoor/outdoor use and operate in an ambient temperature range of -10° C to +40° C. Certifications include CE and RoHS. Typical electricity supply is delivered via festoon with round/flat cable, and control is available by pendant or radio. BH2 — capacity range 125 kg to 2,000 kg; hoisting speed up to 20 m/min (2-speed or stepless); lifting height up to 9 meters; speed control via 2-speed contactor control; duty class Up to 2m/M5 (FEM/ISO). BH5 — capacity range 2,000 kg to 6,300 kg; hoisting speed up to 5.9 m/min (2-speed only); lifting height up to 8.2 meters; speed control via 2-speed contactor control; duty class Up to 2m/M5 (FEM/ISO). Both BH2 and BH5 include integrated safety functions: hoisting motor thermal protection, electrically isolated hook block, overload device, and derailment catches for trolleys. BH2 is suited to light-to-medium industrial lifting at workstation and production-cell level where higher hoisting speed (up to 20 m/min) and lifting heights up to 9 meters improve cycle times for loads from 125 kg to 2,000 kg; available 2-speed or stepless hoist control supports applications requiring finer speed modulation. BH5 is intended for heavier-duty workstation lifting where loads between 2,000 kg and 6,300 kg must be handled safely; its 2-speed 5.9 m/min hoisting is optimized for controlled movement of larger payloads with lifting heights up to 8.2 meters. Both classes are configurable with pendant or radio control and are designed for continuous use in manufacturing environments (assembly, material handling, heavy fabrication and maintenance) that require CE/RoHS compliance, EN10131-standard hooks, and standard festoon power delivery. Choose BH2 when speed and moderate capacity are primary requirements and BH5 when higher capacity and heavy-load handling are required.
