S60 & KS60 Single Screw Feeders

Overview

The S60 and KS60 are mid-sized single screw feeders for free flowing bulk materials and are available in volumetric and gravimetric configurations. S60 feed rates range from 0.14 to 4404 dm3/h [0.005 to 155 ft3/h] and KS60 feed rates range from 0.14 to 4140 dm3/h [0.005 to 146 ft3/h]. S60 feeders feature the twin belt-driven K2 gearbox. K2 T35 and S60 feeders are available in a Quick Change execution that allows easy exchange of the feeder bowl and screws. KS60 feeders feature a worm gear drive which offers maximum feeding range with a single drive. The design is modular and product contact parts are manufactured of stainless steel. Weighing is provided by high accuracy SFT weighing technology and controls use SmartConnex. Hazardous location options ATEX and NEC are available and the units are CE compliant. These feeders are intended for feeding free flowing bulk materials such as pellets and powders and can also be used for free flowing powders and fine granulates. Quick Change execution supports frequent recipe changes by enabling easy exchange of the feeder bowl and screws. S60 feeders with the K2 gearbox offer advantages in challenging applications such as hazardous locations or low feed rates with dense bulk materials, and hazardous location options (ATEX, NEC) are available.
