TMS500-2 — 31 m (102 ft) Boom

Overview

Hydraulic four‑section telescopic boom available in two configurations: from 8.8 m to 29.0 m (29 ft – 95 ft) or from 9.8 m to 31.0 m (32 ft – 102 ft). Maximum tip heights: 39.1 m (128.2 ft) when fitted with the 29 m boom, and 42.0 m (134.8 ft) when fitted with the 31 m boom. Optional folding telescopic lattice jib extends outreach by 7.9 m to 13.7 m (26 ft – 45 ft) and provides manual offset settings of 0°, 15° and 30°. The model is offered with a lower GVWR than that of its predecessor. Use this boom configuration where the primary requirement is variable vertical reach up to 42.0 m for lifting and placement tasks; choose the 29.0 m or 31.0 m telescopic option to match site reach constraints. Add the 7.9 m–13.7 m folding telescopic lattice jib when additional outreach or angled offsets (0°, 15°, 30°) are needed for working around obstacles or placing loads beyond the main boom’s straight-line reach. Note the lower GVWR compared with the predecessor when planning chassis selection, transport logistics and on-road permit requirements.
