Overview

The LM2500TTMS and LM2500TTSY turning centers are productive multifunctional lathes with two universals and two turrets that provide high rigidity and precision in CNC cutting. Combined processing is supported on the LM2500TTSY by the addition of the Y axis to the upper turret. Machines with a sub spindle can perform secondary operations with a single setup, increasing flexibility and productivity. The upper and lower turrets accommodate a total of 24 (Option 48) tools to enable high speed precision machining of complex products with a single setup. The LM-TT series supports reduced specific cutting time via synchronous rotation control of the opposite-type main spindle, and includes features for tool and workpiece handling such as an Automatic Q-Setter for quick tool calibration and an optional spindle probe for automatic workpiece coordinate input.
