GS Coating

Overview

GS Coating is described as "The coating pan that made history" and is produced at IMA Active. The machine features innovative technology conceived to address environment, energy saving and reliability and is available in different models that allow the processing of all product sizes. GS can be fitted with exhausting and/or blowing paddles to perform tablet film and sugar coating and to process pellets and microgranules. The solid wall pan guarantees excellent results with all product shapes and pan shape and surface smoothness ensure perfect mixing and uniform distribution of coating material. A patented drying system is designed to optimize process performance and reliability. Automatic product load and discharge ensure smooth operations and reduced handling time, and cleaning operations are fast and simple due to the solid wall pan; different cleaning programmes comprising washing, rinsing and discharge can be developed and stored in recipes. GS Coating is used to perform tablet film coating and sugar coating. The machine can also process pellets and microgranules. The Lab Version (Mylab) is a laboratory-scale coating pan processor for R&D purposes equipped with an interchangeable drum, able to work batches from 1.5 to 6 litres, with an optional smaller drum to work from 0.5 to 2 litres.
