Overview

MAM72-70V is a 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center described as a new addition to the MAM72 Series with an all new larger capacity design. Max. work dimensions: Φ700×H500mm (Φ27.55×H19.68). Loading Capacity: 500kg (1,100lb.). High speed, unerring accuracy and longevity of sustained performance are assured with the proven 4th/5th axis design. A DD drive system is employed for the 5th-axis unit and the 4th-axis unit uses a roller gear drive that ensures high rigidity and high precision (zero backlash). A high-resolution scale feedback system is provided as standard. 4th-axis feed rate: 50min-1; 5th-axis feed rate: 100min-1. 4th-axis allowable cutting torque: 3964N·m and brake torque: 4147N·m; 5th-axis allowable cutting torque: 620N·m and brake torque: 3619N·m. Operator door opening width: 720mm. Distance from machine front (oil pan edge) to pallet center: 620mm and to spindle center: 90mm. Height from floor to pallet top: 1,080mm. ATC tool magazine options include a Standard Chain Magazine with 90 tools and a Matrix Magazine in capacities 130/170/210/250/290/330/370/410/450/490/530, with the Matrix optionally handling tools up to 450mm in length. APC pallet system options include Standard PC2, Floor Pallet System PC6, and Tower Pallet System PC18.
